A bench led by Justices P. S. Narasimha and Vipul Pancholi has asked NBE to submit an affidavit explaining its position on the matter. These updates hold significant importance for NEET PG candidates awaiting clarity on both NEET PG 2025 counselling and examination transparency.
As per the earlier tentative schedule, NEET PG 2025 choice-filling and locking process was set from October 28 to November 05, 2025. This schedule covered 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 100% seats in Deemed and Central Universities, and AFMS institutions. The extension now gives you extra time to review and finalize your options carefully.
The Supreme Court is currently reviewing several petitions related to NEET PG 2025 exam, focusing on the demand for greater transparency through the release of NEET PG answer keys. During the recent NEET PG SC hearing, the counsel for the National Board of Examinations argued that some petitions were influenced by coaching institutes seeking access to question paper keys, which could affect the integrity of the exam process.
Earlier, on September 26, 2025, a bench of Justices J. B. Pardiwala and K. V. Viswanathan had issued notices to the Centre and the NBE regarding publication of NEET PG 2025 answer keys. Previously, on April 29, 2025, the Supreme Court had also instructed the release of raw scores, answer keys, and normalization formula for NEET PG result to ensure transparency. Earlier, candidates had no access to these details, raising doubts about the fairness and accuracy of NEET PG result evaluation process.
