UP NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment; Check Official Dates, Merit List, Seat Matrix and Fee

DMET is currently conducting the second round of the UP NEET PG 2025 counselling for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. The choice-filling window for Round 2 officially closed on September 23, 2025, and the seat allotment result is expected to be released soon.

The result for the UP NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2 seat allotment is scheduled to be declared on September 24, 2025 which will be checked on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

DMET released the merit list of 33,800 candidates of UP NEET 2025 who successfully applied for Round 2 as well as the name of 89 debarred candidates.

Following the seat allotment, candidates will be able to download their allotment letters and must report to their allotted colleges for admission between September 25 and 30, 2025, with all the required documents and the remaining fees.

Upon the final result's declaration, candidates who are allotted a seat will be required to download their allotment letter till 27^th September 2025 and complete the admission process, including document verification, at their respective colleges by the specified deadline.

The UP NEET 2025 counselling will allocate a total of 6,428 MBBS and 2,251 BDS seats across 32 medical and 23 dental colleges in the state. Seats will be awarded on a per-round basis and the final decision will be based on a combination of the candidate's declared choices, the availability of seats, reservation factors, and their overall rank of NEET 2025. The state-level counselling is a critical step for aspirants seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh.

What's Next After UP NEET 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment?

After the UP NEET 2025 Rund 2 seat allotment result these following events will take place:

Download the Allotment Letter
Once the result is out, log in to the UP NEET portal upneet.gov.in using your credentials, and download your Provisional Allotment Letter. This confirms which college/course you've been allotted.
Check Allotted Seat Details & Discrepancies
Verify that the seat allotted matches your rank, category, and preference. If there is any discrepancy (wrong name, wrong college, category error etc.), there will be a deadline by which you can raise a complaint or correction.
Report to the Allotted College
25-27 September 2025, 29-30 September 2025, and 3 October 2025, selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges during these dates for document verification and admission formalities. You'll need to physically go to the allotted college/institute period. Reporting within the given time is mandatory, otherwise the seat may be forfeited.
Document Verification
At the college, your original certificates will be checked - NEET UG scorecard, 10th & 12th marksheets, identity proof, domicile proof, category certificate (if applicable), etc. Once these are verified, your admission is confirmed.
Fee Payment
Pay the tuition/admission fees also a security deposit by deadline. Failing this could mean cancellation.
Option of Upgradation (if available and desired)
If you want a better college or course, and if UP counselling allows upgradation, you may opt for that in subsequent rounds. But this depends on rules and whether you are eligible (sometimes you must accept the current allotment first).
Watch for Subsequent Rounds / Vacant Seat Rounds
After the Round 2 reporting is over, any seats left vacant may be filled in additional rounds - often called Round 3, mop-up, or stray vacancy rounds. So even if you're not satisfied or didn't get a seat in Round 2, there may be more chances.

UP NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Fee Structure

UP NEET 2025 counselling security deposit is refundable if you are not allotted a seat. However, if you are allotted a seat and do not join the respective institution, the security deposit will be forfeited. Check the fee below:
