Previously, Supreme Court adjourned NEET PG 2025 SC hearing scheduled for September 19, 2025. The case will now be heard on September 23, 2025, with priority given to addressing important concerns raised by exam candidates.

The Supreme Court of India is set to hear a crucial petition regarding transparency in NEET PG 2025 exam on September 23, 2025. The case has been given top priority and placed at the forefront of the Court's agenda. This development follows the recent order by the bench, led by Justices J.B. Pardiwala and K.V. Viswanathan, to postpone the earlier hearing scheduled for September 19, 2025.
The upcoming NEET PG 2025 SC hearing is expected to address important concerns surrounding the conduct of NEET PG 2025 exam, drawing significant attention from candidates and educational bodies alike.
A group of NEET PG 2025 aspirants has filed a plea in the Supreme Court of India, seeking intervention regarding the transparency of NEET PG 2025 exam. The petition challenges the "corrective notice" issued by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. This notice stated that the question ID numbers, correct answer key, and student's responses would be made available. However, the petitioners argue that since the sequence of questions and order of answer options are shuffled differently for each candidate, these details should be disclosed according to Master Set of the question paper used for NEET PG 2025.
The students further claim that NEET PG answer key released by NBEMS is ambiguous and lacks clarity. They assert that the disclosure by NBEMS is only a formality, describing it as "opaque, unintelligible, and incapable of meaningful verification." The petitioners have therefore urged the Supreme Court to ensure greater transparency and fairness in the evaluation process of NEET PG 2025.
During the recent Supreme Court hearing on NEET PG 2025 case, the bench raised questions regarding the petitioner's motives. The judges asked whether the petition was filed simply because the aspirants received lower marks and felt the exam lacked transparency. This line of questioning indicated the court's concern about potential misuse of the legal process.
The bench also emphasized that the legal system should not be exploited to disrupt the smooth conduct of exams. Following this, the court decided to adjourn NEET PG 2025 SC hearing and scheduled the next date for September 23, 2025. This pause allows both parties more time to prepare and ensures that the matter is addressed thoroughly.
