The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is to close the registration window for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) and the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) today, November 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM. This is the final opportunity to apply for the B.Des, M.Des and PhD programs with a late fee.

The UCEED and CEED 2026 entrance examinations are both scheduled for January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Both exams follow a hybrid format, featuring a computer-based objective section (Part A) and an offline, pen-and-paper drawing/sketching component (Part B) answered in a booklet at the center. Admit cards will be released for both exams on January 2, 2026.
You must have completed or be appearing for the final examination of a degree/diploma/PG program of at least three years (after 10+2) by July 2026 to be eligible. There are no age or attempt limits. The regular fee application ended on November 5. Complete your registration by the specific time with the late fee to avoid missing the final deadline to take exam.
CEED and UCEED 2026 Registration Process
The application process for both the CEED and UCEED 2026 is entirely online. Check the five-step online procedure below:
- Step 1: Begin by visiting the official portal (uceedapp.iitb.ac.in for UCEED or ceedapp.iitb.ac.in for CEED). New users must first register to create an account using a valid email ID.
- Step 2: Once logged in, accurately provide all your personal, academic and contact details as required in the form sections.
- Step 3: Upload all necessary documents (Photo, Signature, Category/Disability/Age Proof, and the Qualifying Examination Certificate/School Principal's Certificate). Ensure all files adhere strictly to the specified formats.
- Step 4: Proceed to pay the required registration fee+the late fee online using the available payment methods.
- Step 5: Before clicking the final submit button, review the entire form to correct any errors.

CEED and UCEED 2026 Late Application Fee
Total CEED and UCEED 202 application fee with late charges for Indian nationals are given below:

There will be no application correction window available for either the CEED or UCEED 2026 application forms after they have been finally submitted. Exercise extreme caution while entering their details as incomplete or incorrect forms are rejected and the fee is non-refundable. However, if there are any discrepancies on the admit card you must contact the respective examination office immediately to have the information corrected before the final deadline of January 8, 2026.

If your JEE Main 2026 registration fails, act quickly and identify the issue.
- Ensure your Name, DOB & Father's Name match documents.
- Re-upload your photo and signature as per NTA rules.
- Wait 24–48 hours if payment is deducted but form unconfirmed.
- Contact NTA for ongoing technical issues.
New Rules for JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Selection
Candidates can select up to four exam cities based on preference.
New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
