Apply for the 2026 Entrances examinations, Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design and Common Entrance Examination for Design now before the deadline. To be eligible, you must have completed or be appearing for the final examination of a degree, Diploma or PG program of minimum three years duration (after 10+2 level) by July 2026. There is no age restriction/limit on the number of attempts.
The registration window for UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026 is closing at midnight today. To register for B.Des and M.Des programs at IITs and other participating institutes, complete your online registration with normal fee by November 5, 2025. The final deadline with a late fee is Monday, November 10, 2025 (5:00 PM).

The application fees for Indian Nationals vary based on the candidate's category, with a standard fee. Both the UCEED and CEED exams are conducted in a hybrid mode on the same day. This format combines a CBT for the objective portion (Part A) and a subsequent offline component for the subjective drawing and sketching skills (Part B). The drawing/sketching questions, though displayed on the screen, must be answered using pen and paper in an answer booklet provided at the examination center.
Application Process for UCEED/CEED Examination 2026
Both the UCEED and CEED applications are entirely online and managed by IIT Bombay. The registration process is given below:
- Step 1: Visit the official portal for UCEED (uceedapp.iitb.ac.in) or CEED (ceedapp.iitb.ac.in). New users must first Register to create an account using a valid email ID.
- Step 2: Log in to the portal and accurately fill in all personal, academic, and contact details.
- Step 3: Upload all necessary documents (Photo, Signature, Category/Disability/Age Proof, and Qualifying Examination certificate/School Principal's certificate) as per the specified formats.
- Step 4: Pay the required registration fee online.
- Step 5: Review the form for any errors before final submission.
