The Common Law Admission Test, CLAT is a national - level law exam conducted by The Consortium of NLUs (National Law Universities) to one - year LLM PG and 5 - year integrated LLB UG courses. The entrance exam is held for the admission to 21 NLUs for PG courses and 24 NLUs for UG courses. The exam is conducted in an offline mode, Pen and paper is required and the questions are from Quantitative Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs and GK and English for the Undergraduate program.

CLAT 2025 news will be announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities, and is expected to be released on December 2024. Students can check the notification on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The exam is conducted offline and it covers sections such as : Logical reasoning, Mathematics, English, General knowledge, Current affairs and Legal aptitude. The exam duration is for 2 - hours and the answer key will be released a week after the exam is completed. This is a standard exam which is accepted in colleges like, NLU Jodhpur, WBNUJS Kolkata, NALSAR Hyderabad and NLSIU Bangalore.
