Common University Entrance Test UG is a national-level examination for candidates who want admission to UG courses throughout India. CUET UGexamination is conducted by the NTA.
 

About CUET Examination

The CUET or Common University Entrance Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The CUET UG exam 2024 is the entrance exam for admission to the various UG programs in 44 central universities and more than 250 universities throughout India. CUET UG exam will be held in more than 300 cities in India using 13 different mediums. The examination will be conducted in the online mode. Students who have completed the registration within the last date of registration will be issued admit cards.
 

The CUET UG 2024 examination opens the door for around 44 central universities, state intuitions, private universities, deemed universities, and other esteemed educational institutions. To register for the CUET UG Examination, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

CUET 2024 Exam Pattern

Here are the details of the CUET UG 2024 exam pattern :

• Mode of Exam : Hybrid Mode (Online + Offline) 
• Exam Duration : 2 Hours
• No. of Questions : Section IA & IB: 40 questions out of 50 to be attempted, Section II: 40 questions out of 50 to be attempted, Section III: 50 questions out of 60 questions
• Total Marks : 800 marks.
• Marking Scheme : For each correct answer5 marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
• Sections : There are four sections (Section IA, IB, II, & III)
   

Marking Process of CUET Examination 

• Correct Answer : 5 marks will be awarded to the students for each correct answer.
• Incorrect Answer : 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answers
   

Score Validity of CUET SET Examination

As per the NTA, the CUET UG exam score is valid only for one exam session. That means the scores of the 2024 season will be valid for the academic season of 2024 - 2025.
