The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the one-time application correction window for the UGC NET December 2025 examination from November 10, 2025, 10:00 AM. Check the details here.
You are allowed to change the details on your NET Dec 2025 registration form if you’ve submitted your application before the November 7 deadline. You can now visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in to make necessary corrections. The window will remain open until November 12, 2025, at 11:50 PM.
The permitted changes are Date of Birth, Category, Father's Name and Mother's Name, but no changes are allowed for the Candidate's Name, Gender, Photograph, Signature, Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent/Correspondence Address, or Examination City. Since this is the only opportunity provided for corrections, you must exercise extreme caution. Additional fee resulting from a change in category must be paid online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI. The UGC NET exam determines eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. admission, is scheduled to be conducted as a Computer-Based Test from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
How to Make Corrections in UGC NET 2025 December Session Application Form?

- Step 1: Visit the official website; ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Step 2: Log in using your application number and password.
- Step 3: Click on the link/button available for the "application form correction".
- Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and agree to the terms.
- Step 5: Make the necessary changes in the allowed fields.
- Step 6: Pay an additional fee, if applicable (if needed).
- Step 7: Submit the form and take a printout of the revised Confirmation Page for future reference.
UGC NET 2025 Application Correction Additional Fee
An additional fee will be required to change your category or PwD status. The different fee structure is given below:

Changing from PwD Status
