XIM University has extended the registration deadline for MBA 2026 admissions, including the application for the XGMT 2026 entrance exam. Use your scores from the NMAT, XAT, CAT or GMAT entrance exams or complete the separate XIM University online application by the deadline of December 22, 2025. The university confirmed that while the application deadline has changed, the key dates for the XGMT 2026 exam cycle remain the same.
If you opt for the XGMT, you'll receive your admit card on January 20, 2026, and the test itself will be held on January 25, 2026, in twelve cities across India. Regardless of which exam score you're using, make sure your XIM University application is fully submitted via their official portal https://ximb.edu.in/admission/mba-business-management/.
XIMB Admission 2026: How to Apply?
Application guide to fill the XIM University online application check the steps below:
- Step 1: Visit the official XIM University admissions portal at apply.xim.edu.in.
- Step 2:
- If you are a ‘New User’ register by providing your basic credentials (name, mobile number, email address) to receive a unique XU ID/Login ID and password via email.
- If you are an ‘Existing User’, log in with your credentials to access the application form.
- Step 3: Fill in all required details, including personal information, academic records (Class 10, Class 12, graduation) and any relevant work experience.
- Step 4: Select the specific MBA program(s) you wish to apply for and indicate which test score (CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, or XGMT) you plan to use or simply select this option within the XIM University form.
- Step 5: Write and submit your Statement of Purpose (SoP).
- Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the specified JPEG format (photo size 50KB-100KB).
- Step 7: Pay the application fee online via debit card, credit card, net banking, IMPS, etc.:
- The application fee is INR 1800 for the first program option.
- An additional fee of INR 400 is required for each subsequent program option you select using the same form.
- If you choose the XGMT option, there is an additional test fee.

If you choose any entrance exam as your entrance exam for XIM University, you must ensure you have registered for and appeared in the exam through the official IIM website. You have the flexibility to select both an entrance exam and XGMT (XIM University's own test) within the same XIM University application form if you want to apply through both channels. The total application fee will be calculated automatically based on the number of options you select.
