The sudden immediate cancellation and rescheduling of the NEET PG 2026 exam came after an internal power failure combined with technical server glitches severely disrupted the computer systems inside Test Centres 41682 and 41683. While the nationwide assessment concluded smoothly across 1,111 other venues for over 2.63 lakh candidates, students at this specific Jaipur centre experienced an abrupt halt to their ongoing testing process.

To address the unexpected disruption, NBEMS expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the affected aspirants, many of whom had traveled significant distances to reach the test location. Authorities confirmed that the issues were isolated entirely to the infrastructure managed by the exam conducting agency, M/s TCS Ltd., ensuring that no other examination venues across the country require any schedule adjustments or re-tests.

A re-examination for all impacted candidates from the Sitapura center has been officially scheduled for September 5, 2026, starting at 03:00 PM in Jaipur. NBEMS will issue fresh guidelines and updated admit cards detailing the exact venue arrangements in the coming days, providing the affected medical graduates with a few extra days to finalize their preparations.
