The XAT 2025 registration deadline has been extended from November 30, 2024 to December 10, 2024. You can register for the examination through the official website by paying a registration fee of INR 2,200. You need to pay an additional fee of INR 200 for XLRI MBA programs. 

The XAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2025. The XLRI conducts this exam every year. This year, there are slight changes in the XAT 2025 exam pattern. The essay writing section has been removed, reducing the exam duration to 180 minutes. The exam authority also added 34 new test centers this year.

Around 250 colleges accept the XAT exam scores for MBA admission. Some of the top colleges that accept XAT scores are XLRI, Amity University Noida, Great Lakes Chennai, GIM Goa, LPU, IMI Delhi, TAPMI, etc. To apply for the XAT 2025 exam, you must have a bachelor’s degree, and there are no upper age limit criteria.

XAT 2025 Registration Process

The XAT 2025 registration process has already started, and the last date of registration is now December 10, 2024, you can register for the XAT by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the XAT official website at xatonline.in and click "Register.”

Step 2: Fill out the registration form to register yourself.

Step 3: Then verify your email address.

Step 4: Fill out the XAT online application form before the deadline of November 30.

Step 5: Upload all the required documents. You must upload your class 10th mark sheet, class 12th mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, address proof, Aadhaar card, etc.

Step 6: Pay the application fee of INR 2200.

Step 7: Submit the application form.

Step 8: You will get a confirmation message on both your registered mobile number and email ID.

XAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the XAT 2025, you should check the eligibility criteria for this exam:

• You must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of three years of duration.
• Final-year bachelor’s students waiting for the results can also apply.
• There is no minimum age limit or mark requirements for the XAT 2025.

XAT 2025 Exam Pattern

This year, XLRI Jamshedpur has made some changes to its XAT exam pattern. Starting this year, Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) will be conducted during the GD & PI rounds, rather than as a part of XAT 2025. Here is the exam pattern for XAT:

• There will be a total of 95 questions that you have to answer within 180 minutes
• For every correct response, there will be 1 mark, and for each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
