IIIT BTech Admission without JEE Main

DASA (Direct Admission of Students Aboard)

It was started by the Human Resource Department, Government of India. Under this scheme, foreign nationals, PIOs, NRIs, and OCIs are eligible for direct admission into IIITs. Instead of a JEE Main, you will require an SAT exam score for direct admission to IIITs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• You should have completed 11^th and 12^th grade or equivalent outside the India.
• Required a valid score in the SAT exam.

SCA (Special Channel of Admission)

SCA channel can be availed by those who are from underprivileged or remote backgrounds. However, they must meet some specific eligibility criteria to apply through the SCA channel.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to apply through the SCA channel, you must meet the following criteria:

• Has to be a citizen of India.
• Must have completed the class 12 examination in 2024.
• Should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and one additional science subject in your qualifying examination.
• Be from one of the following underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, such as government school background, low-income family background, economically weaker section, etc.

Mode of Selection:

Candidates will be selected through a written test conducted by the IIIT Hyderabad. The syllabus will include aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic mathematics.

Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE) Channel

UGEE is a mode of admission offered only at IIIT Hyderabad. Candidates who have selected this mode will be granted admission into dual-degree programs, such as B.Tech.+MS by research.
