Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, a premier institute under the Department of Space, Government of India, has announced IIST B.Tech admission 2025 for its undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025-26. Aspiring students can apply till June 09, 2025, the deadline for B.Tech and Dual Degree programs.

IIST Thiruvananthapuram offers a total of 210 seats across its undergraduate programs for the 2025-26 academic year. The seat matrix includes a total of 75 seats each for Electronics & Communication Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The newly introduced Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) program has 36 seats available, while the Dual Degree program (B.Tech in Engineering Physics with M.Sc/M.Tech) offers 24 seats.

Step 2: Click on link that reads "Undergraduate Admissions 2025"
Step 3: Now, select option named "Create Login and Register".
Step 4: Input your JEE Advanced roll number and DOB along with captcha code in the designated fields.
Step 5: Tap on icon labeled "Proceed to step 2"
Step 6: Enter all required details and upload scanned documents to continue.
Step 7: Submit the application fee to complete the process and save the confirmation page for your records.

Who is Eligible for IIST B.Tech Admission 2025?

To be eligible for IIST B.Tech admission 2025, candidates must need to meet these following criteria:

Indian citizens and OCI/PIO card holders are eligible for admission.
General/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates must be born on or after the date October 01, 2000.
SC/ST/PD category candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1995.
Academically, General/EWS/OBC-NCL categories applicants need to score at least 75% aggregate in class 12 or equivalent.
Minimum 65% for SC/ST/PD candidates.
The aggregate percentage will be calculated based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one language subject, and an additional fifth subject.
In JEE Advanced, General category candidates need 20% overall and 5% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). EWS/OBC-NCL candidates require 18% overall and 4.5% per subject, while SC/ST/PD candidates need 10% overall and 2.5% per subject.
