MHT CET 2025 exam dates are out now. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct the MHT CET for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group from April 9, 2024 to April 17, 2024 and for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group from April 19, 2024 to April 27, 2024. You can expect the registration process to start in January 2025. General category candidates must pay INR 800, and other reserved category candidates must pay INR 600 as an application fee.
The MHT CET Engineering (PCM group) exam paper contains 150 questions, while the Pharmacy paper (PCB group) contains 200 questions. There are two marks each for Mathematics questions, and for other subject-wise questions, there is one mark each. The exam doesn’t have a negative marking scheme.

For Maharashtra State Candidates
Here are the detailed eligibility for the candidates from Maharashtra:
- Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must either have passed or be appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2025.
- Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects in Class 12, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.
- Minimum Marks:
- A minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 is required for general category students.
- Candidates from the backward class, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), or Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need at least 40% marks to qualify.
For Non-Maharashtra Candidates
If you belong to any non-Maharashtra state, you must check the following points:
- As a non-Maharashtra candidate, you can apply for B.Tech programs through JEE Main besides the MHT CET exam.
- Reservation benefits under the MHT CET policy do not apply to you unless you are from Maharashtra.
MHT CET 2025 Registration Process
The registration process for MHT CET 2025 is an easy online procedure. Here’s a step-by-step guide to applying for the exam:
- Step 1: Go to the official MHT CET website (cetcell.mahacet.org) and click on the registration link for the MHT CET 2025.
- Step 2: Create an account by providing your details, including your full name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number. You will receive a registration number and password on your registered email and mobile number.
- Step 3: After registration, log in to your account again. Fill in the necessary details such as educational qualifications, choice of exam centres, and your preferred courses. Ensure all information is correct.

MHT CET 2025 Correction Window
The Maharashtra State CET Cell offers applicants the option to modify or correct their submitted application forms in case there is any discrepancy in the registration form. To access the correction window, you must log into the registered account using your application number and password.
If you have forgotten the password, you can also recover it by clicking on the “I cannot access my account” link. Once successfully logged in, three new options will appear under the Important Links menu:

Change Subject Group
This option allows candidates to switch their subject group from PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) to PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or vice versa.
Add Subject Group
If you forgot to include a subject group while completing the application form can add PCM or PCB during this stage. However, you will need to pay the application fee for the additional subject group along with a late fee.

How to Edit the MHT CET 2025 Admit Card if there is any Discrepancy?
