BITSAT: About Exam

The BITSAT 2025 exam date has yet to be declared by the BITS Pilani. However, it is expected that registration for session 1 will start from January 2025 and season 2 will start from May/June 2025. You can apply for this exam through the official website at bitsadmission.com. The season 1 application fee is INR 3400 for male students and season 2 application fee is INR 2900 for female students.

The BITSAT 2025 examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam paper will contain a total of 130 MCQs, which you have to answer within 3 hours. You will get +3 marks for each correct answer and –1 negative mark for each wrong answer. The syllabus consists of four parts, that is Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology.

BITS Pilani conducts the BITSAT exam for admission to the B.E., M.Sc., and B.Pharm programs at the BITS campuses, such as BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, BITS Hyderabad, and others. Around 3 lakhs candidates appear for the examination every year.

BITSAT 2025 Registration Process 

BITS Pilani will start the BITSAT 2025 registration on its official website in January 2025. The registration process involves various stages including registration, application form fill-up, uploading documents, and paying the application fees. To apply for the BITSAT 2025, follow the steps mentioned below: 

Step 1: You need to visit to the BITSAT official website at bitsadmission.com. 

Step 2: Register your account with your personal details, including your name, gender, date of birth, etc. 

Step 3: After completing the successful registration, you have to login to your account to fill out the BITSAT application form. You have to provide your personal and academic details, along with the preferred program, marks, etc. 

Step 4: Upload the required scanned documents and photographs. 

Step 5: Pay the BITSAT 2025 application fee.  

Step 6: After making the payment, the registration process will be completed. You can take a printout of the application form and the receipt for future reference. 

BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

BITSAT 2025: Admission for B.Pharm Program 

If you want to enroll in B.Pharm at BITS campuses, then you should have passed your 12th examination under the 10+2 structure from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Math and adequate proficiency in English.  

BITSAT 2025: Admission to All the Other Programs (Except B.Pharm)  

For other courses at BITS Pilani campuses, you should have passed your 12th class examination under the 10+2 structure from a recognized board with PCM. Adequate proficiency in the English language is also required to apply for this exam. 

For every course, you must meet the required minimum aggregate marks to be eligible for the BITSAT. Here are the minimum marks required for the BITSAT 2025:

BITSAT 2025 Admit Card 

The BITSAT 2025 admit card will be available on the official BITSAT website, after the registration is concluded. You will be able to download your BITSAT admit card / hall ticket by using your login credentials. Usually, the admit card is released within 8-10 days prior the exam. You must carry your admit card to attempt the exam at the exam centre. It will contain various information about the exam, such as exam centre venue, time slot, date, and test guidelines.

BITSAT 2025 Answer Key 

Various coaching institutes release the BITSAT 2025 answer key online. The answer key will be available after the conclusion of the exam. Those answer keys will be based on the compilation of questions and answers based on what students remember from an exam. The BITSAT 2025 answer key will contain correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. You can use those answer keys to verify your answers and calculate the probable scores. 

BITSAT 2025 Result 

The BITSAT 2025 result for session 1 is likely to be released in June 2025, in online mode. You can check your result through the official website of BITSAT by logging into your account. The qualified candidates will be called for the BITSAT counselling process.  

BITSAT 2025 Counselling 

BITSAT 2025 counselling process involves various steps: 

Step 1: Online Registration: 

You must complete the online registration first at the official website of BITSAT. In the registration form, you have to provide your name, phone number, address, etc. 

Step 2: Submission of Class 12th Marks: 

Provide your subject wise marks obtained in Class 12th examination. If you are waiting for the result, then you have to download the application form for counselling and send it to the authorities following the result announcement date. 

Step 3: Choice Filling: 

The next step is the choice filling, where you have to select your preferred college along with the course.  

Step 4: Seat Allotment: 

Then, the BITS Pilani will release the seat allotment result for 2025. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their performance, merit, seat availability, etc. 

Step 5: Report to Colleges: 

You must have to report to the designated college for the remainder of the counselling and seat allocation process. The final selection will be confirmed after completing the document verification. 

Step 6: Wait List: 

The exam conducting authority will also release a waitlist after every round of counselling process. This list will contain the name of the applicants who have not been assigned any seats during the counselling process. However, they have a greater chance of being admitted to BITSAT campuses. So, they should stay updated with the official website during the counselling process. 

BITSAT 2025 Mock Test 

BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2025 mock test for the candidates registered for the exam. You can access the mock test from the BITS admission website on which you can practice as many times as you desire. It will help you to practice time management and get accustomed to the exam pattern.
