What Are the Exam Day Guidelines for GATE 2027?

Candidates appearing for the GATE 2027 exam must follow the following instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and hassle-free exam experience.

Admit Card	Carry a printed A4-size copy of the admit card downloaded from the official GOAPS portal. A coloured printout is strongly advised.
Valid ID Proof	Bring an original and valid photo ID such as Aadhaar card passport voter ID driving license or PAN card. Only original ID proofs are valid, photocopies or scans are not allowed.
Reporting Time	Reach the test venue well in advance, ideally 90 minutes before the exam begins. Entry will not be permitted if you arrive later than 30 minutes after the exam begins.
Entry & Login	Candidates can log in 20 minutes before the paper starts. Instructions must be read carefully before beginning the test.
Seating Arrangement	Be seated at least 45 minutes before the exam. Candidates must follow the seating plan displayed by the centre staff.
