AIBE 2025 exam will be conducted offline and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks. There is no negative marking. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes, with an additional 20 minutes for candidates with a disability of 50% or more.
The exam is available in English and 21 regional languages. Candidates are only allowed to bring bare acts without notes or commentaries into the exam hall.
The qualifying marks are 45% for General/OBC categories and 40% for SC/ST/Disabled categories.
Notably, the 2025 syllabus incorporates the new criminal codes: the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), replacing the IPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act, respectively.
