AIBE (XX) Eligibility Criteria 2025, set by the Bar Council of India (BCI), determine who can appear for the exam. You are eligible if you are in the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program from a BCI-recognised university or college and have no backlogs. You can also apply if you have completed your LL.B. and are awaiting your degree, or if you have obtained your degree but have not yet enrolled with any State Bar Council.

However, if your university or college is not recognised by the BCI, you will not be eligible to appear for the exam. Before applying, you must confirm your institution's BCI approval. Registration for AIBE (XX) 2025 ends on 31st October 2025, and you will be required to submit an undertaking along with self-attested scanned documents during registration.

Ans. You will be ineligible if your university or law college is not recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Additionally, candidates with pending backlogs in any semester of their LL.B. program will not qualify.
