AIBE (XX) Eligibility Criteria 2025, set by the Bar Council of India (BCI), determine who can appear for the exam. You are eligible if you are in the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program from a BCI-recognised university or college and have no backlogs. You can also apply if you have completed your LL.B. and are awaiting your degree, or if you have obtained your degree but have not yet enrolled with any State Bar Council.
However, if your university or college is not recognised by the BCI, you will not be eligible to appear for the exam. Before applying, you must confirm your institution's BCI approval. Registration for AIBE (XX) 2025 ends on 31st October 2025, and you will be required to submit an undertaking along with self-attested scanned documents during registration.

AIBE (XX) Eligibility Criteria 2025 (Final-Year Students and Graduates)

Ans. You are eligible to apply for AIBE (XX) 2025 if you have completed a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree from a Bar Council of India (BCI)-recognised university or college.

Ans. Yes, you can apply if you have completed all course requirements and are awaiting your degree certificate. The BCI allows law graduates who have passed their exams but are yet to receive their official degree to register for the exam. You must, however, ensure that your university or college is recognised by the BCI before applying.
Ans. Yes, if you have obtained your LL.B. degree but have not yet enrolled with any State Bar Council, you are eligible to apply for AIBE 2025. Candidates who have surrendered their enrolment certificates are also allowed to appear. However, you must produce the required documents proving your LL.B. qualification from a BCI-approved institution.

LL.B. degree or provisional certificate (for graduates)
Final-year mark sheets or certificate from college (for final-year students)
Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
Passport-sized photograph and signature
Enrolment certificate or undertaking (if applicable)
Ans. You will be ineligible if your university or law college is not recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Additionally, candidates with pending backlogs in any semester of their LL.B. program will not qualify.
