Vellore Institute of Technology has officially released VITEEE 2026 exam pattern on its website viteee.vit.ac.in. This year, the exam pattern has undergone significant revisions, especially in the marking scheme. For the first time, a negative marking of 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer, while each correct response will now be rewarded with 4 marks, instead of the earlier 1 mark.
The exam pattern of VITEEE 2026 exam keeps the number of questions and duration unchanged. You will need to answer 125 questions within 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, the total marks have increased to 500 from 125, following the newly updated marking scheme.
