The JoSAA 2026 round 5 seat allotment results and final opening and closing ranks released today, July 16, at 5:00 PM. Check your status by logging into the official portal at josaa.nic.in using their JEE Main 2026 application number and password.

Round 5 is the concluding round of the JoSAA counselling for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Once these results are declared, no further rounds will be held by JoSAA for seat allocation. Take immediate action to either accept their seat, exit, or withdraw from the process. Complete seat acceptance and confirmation promptly to secure the allocation, after which the process moves to document verification and final reporting. Note that seat cutoffs for IITs are determined by JEE Advanced ranks, while those for NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs are based on JEE Main ranks.

Any seats that remain vacant after the conclusion of this final round will be transitioned to the CSAB special counselling process for further allocation starting July 28. To secure a provisionally allocated seat, candidates in the NIT, IIIT, or GFTI are required to pay a Partial Admission Fee (PAF), which is set at INR 45,000 for most candidates and INR 20,000 for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
