The Vellore Institute of Technology has officially started the VITEEE 2026 counselling process. Admission fees are determined by a candidate's specific rank and chosen program. The institute classifies courses into Group A: includes traditional core branches with lower fees, and Group B: covers high-demand fields like CSE with higher tuition costs. Within these groups, fees are further divided into five categories, where Category 1 is the most affordable and Category 5 is the most expensive.
The counselling schedule is strictly divided into five phases based on VITEEE merit ranks, starting from Rank 1 to those above 1,00,000. Each phase requires candidates to adhere to VITEEE 2026 schedule for fee payment, choice filling, and seat allotment. Once a seat is allotted, students must pay an advance fee within the designated window followed by the final installment to secure their admission. The entire process runs from May 11 through July 4, ensuring a structured transition for all qualifying candidates.
