VIT Vellore has started online B.Tech counselling for the 2026-27 session. The process is being held in phases based on candidate ranks for all four campuses. To begin, students must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 5,900 at vit.ac.in.

Each phase includes specific dates for choice-filling, seat allotment, and fee payments. After selecting the preferred branches, you must lock your choices before the deadline. Once a seat is allotted, pay the advance fee to confirm the admission.
To refine your preferences during the VITEEE 2026 counselling, you can easily modify your list by clicking the "Edit" option on the portal. This allows you to manually reorder your selections by simply typing the new priority numbers into the corresponding boxes for each branch and campus. If you wish to shuffle your choices, you can interchange the order of existing preferences until you are satisfied with the arrangement. Importantly, ensure you click the "Update" button after every change to save your new sequence, otherwise your modifications will not be recorded before the choice-locking deadline.
