The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Provisional Answer Keys, question papers, and recorded responses for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2, specifically for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). Access these documents on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, to verify your answers. Those who find discrepancies have the opportunity to challenge the provisional keys until April 27 by paying a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question.
Payments must be made online via debit/credit card or net banking; no other modes of payment or late submissions will be accepted. Following the challenge window, subject experts will review all objections to finalize the answer keys. If a challenge is upheld, the key will be revised for all candidates, and the final results will be calculated based on this updated data. JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 Paper 2 Provisional Answer Key Challenge
To challenge the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 (Paper 2A & 2B) provisional answer keys, follow these detailed steps:
- Step 1: Open the websitenta.nic.in.
- Step 2: Click on the link that displays "Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key".
- Step 3: Log in using your JEE Main 2026 Application Number and Password. Enter the Security Pin (Captcha) as displayed and click "Submit".
- Step 4: Once logged in, click on the "Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key" button again to view the question list.
- Step 5: You will see Question IDs listed in sequential order:
- Paper 2A (B.Arch): 25 Mathematics + 50 Aptitude Test questions.
- Paper 2B (B.Planning): 25 Mathematics + 50 Aptitude Test + 25 Planning-based MCQs.
- Step 6: The ID listed under the 'Correct Option' column represents the NTA’s official answer.
- Step 7: If you believe a different answer is correct, select the checkbox next to one or more Option IDs in the subsequent four columns that you believe to be the right answer.
- Step 8: Click on 'Choose File' to upload supporting documents. Note that all supporting proof must be combined into a single PDF file.
- Step 9: After selecting the desired options for Mathematics, Aptitude, or Planning sections, scroll to the bottom and click 'Save your claim'.
- Step 10: The next screen will display a summary of all the Option IDs you have successfully challenged.
- Step 11: Click on 'Save your claim and Pay Fee finally'.
- Step 12: Select your preferred “Mode of Payment” and pay the non-refundable processing fee for every individual question challenged.

JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Provisional Answer Key Login
The results for Session 2 Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning) are expected to be declared by the first week of May 2026. While the Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) results were already released on April 20. This final result will also include your All India Rank (AIR), which is calculated based on the best of your scores from both the January and April sessions of JEE (Main) 2026.

- Ensure your Name, DOB & Father's Name match documents.
- Re-upload your photo and signature as per NTA rules.
- Wait 24–48 hours if payment is deducted but form unconfirmed.
- Contact NTA for ongoing technical issues.
New Rules for JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Selection
Candidates can select up to four exam cities based on preference.
New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
