Latest Update: NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 paper 2 result on February 23, 2025, at the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Earlier, the session 1 paper 1 results were declared on February 11, 2025. JEE Main 2025 session 2 result are expected to be announced on April 17, 2025.
JEE Main 2025 result for session 1 is already released by the NTA in February and session 2 exam is scheduled in April. Candidates can check their JEE Main 2025 result online on the official website. You will need your application number and password to check your JEE Main Session 1 result.
Candidate's rank will be declared after the results for both the 1st and 2nd sessions of JEE Main Exam are out. After both session result declaration, candidates' ranks will be announced. Candidates' ranks are determined after comparing their performance in both attempts.

The percentile score is based on the relative performance of all the candidates appearing in the examination. Scores will be obtained after transforming the scores into a scale ranging between 100 to 0 for every JEE Main session.
According to the official website, percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below that percentile in that examination. The marks obtained by the candidates, in between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles.

Ans: Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, or Bangladesh can apply for JEE Main 2025 under the foreign category. All they need is to fill out and submit the application form for JEE Main 2025. Although registration for session 1 has closed, candidates in the foreign category can apply for session 2 of the exam between January 31 and February 24, 2025. There is no special reservation for foreign category candidates.
Ans: JEE Main 2025 results are calculated using a percentile-based normalization method. This ensures that scores across different sessions are equated. The raw scores obtained by candidates are converted into percentile scores, and the best score of the two sessions is considered for the final rank.
Ans: to qualify in JEE Advanced 2025, candidates must secure a minimum percentile based on their category. The top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main will be eligible for JEE Advanced.
