Here is the marking scheme of WBJEE 2026:
| Category | Marking Scheme |
| Category I | Each correct answer will be awarded with one mark. An incorrect answer will yield a loss of ¼ mark. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the answer will be treated as incorrect. |
| Category II | If only one option is correct, then the correct response yields two marks. An incorrect response will yield ½ marks for any combination of responses with more than one option. The said answer will be treated as an incorrect answer. |
| Category III | One or more options may be correct, only correct responses will yield 2 marks. There will be no negative marking. |
