The National Testing Agency (NTA) has disclosed the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam schedule on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in on January 1, 2025. The NTA will conduct the Paper 1 for B.E. and B.Tech admissions from January 22 to 24 and January 28 to 29, 2025, while Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Plan) are scheduled for January 30, 2025. The NTA will conduct the examination in 284 cities in India and 15 cities outside India.

The JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 will assess your understanding of the Chemistry, Maths and Physics curriculum for classes eleven and twelve. Paper 2A will include Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing while Paper 2B will cover Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning-based questions. NTA will conduct both the exams in JEE Main 2025 in a computer-based approach excluding the drawing component in Paper 2.

What are the Guidelines for JEE Main 2025?
The exam day guidelines for JEE main 2025 are as follows:
- Reach the exam center ahead of time.
- Bring a printed admit card, valid ID proof and a self-declaration form.
- Prepare yourself for an Identity verification at the entrance.
- Carry only items which will be listed on the admit card.
- Rough sheets will be provided. Write your name and roll number and return them after the exam.
- Candidates with diabetes are allowed to bring sugar tablets, fruits, and clear water bottles. No packed food is allowed.
- Appear at the designated venue. Sit only on the assigned seat.
- Watches are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Entry is prohibited once the exam begins.
- Leaving the exam hall before the exam ends is not permitted.
- Exam centre change requests will not be accepted.
What's After the JEE Main Exam?
The NTA will declare the results of JEE Main 2025 Session 1 on its official website on February 12, 2025. Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth to access their results. The JEE Main 2025 cutoff, which is the minimum score required to qualify, will be released on the official website. It will include cutoffs for both general and category-specific candidates. The qualifying and admission cutoffs are different. The 2025 counselling schedule will be available on josaa.nic.in, with five rounds planned. Aspirants can also review the seat matrix for total available seats through JoSAA's portal.
UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in four rounds, allocating 85% state quota seats based on choices, NEET scores, and reservations. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be managed by MCC.
UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates have been officially released on the state’s exam portal, upneet.gov.in. You can begin round 1 registration process from November 06, 2025. To participate in the seat allocation, you must register online and submit your preferred choices of colleges and courses. The deadline for application submission is October 10, 2025. If you have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam and meet the minimum cutoff criteria, you are eligible to take part in Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.

If your JEE Main 2026 registration fails, act quickly and identify the issue.
- Ensure your Name, DOB & Father's Name match documents.
- Re-upload your photo and signature as per NTA rules.
- Wait 24–48 hours if payment is deducted but form unconfirmed.
- Contact NTA for ongoing technical issues.
New Rules for JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Selection
Candidates can select up to four exam cities based on preference.
New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
