West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the schedule for the JELET 2025 exam, which is a pen-and-paper-based test for lateral entry into the second year of Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy programs in West Bengal. The exam is set for October 18 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

The application window will open on September 9 and close on September 17. Registered candidates will also have access to an online correction facility from September 19 to 20 on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jelet. The exam will be in English and consist of multiple-choice questions: 80 in Category I and 20 in Category II, which may have more than one correct option.

WBJEE JELET 2025 Question Paper Pattern
At the time of online application, candidates will select their qualifying exam from Diploma in Engineering/Technology, Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Sc., D.Voc., or B.Voc. The exam consists of two separate papers.
Paper-I: For Engineering, B.Sc., D.Voc., and B.Voc. Candidates
Paper-I is designed for candidates with a Diploma in Engineering/Technology, B.Sc., D.Voc., and B.Voc. backgrounds. It is divided into two categories of questions with a total of 100 questions and 120 marks. The paper has a duration of two hours.
- Category-1 questions are worth 1 mark each, with a penalty of -1/4 mark for every incorrect answer.
- Category-2 questions are worth 2 marks each, with no negative marking.

All questions in both categories are Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options and are in English.
Paper-II: For Diploma in Pharmacy Candidates
Paper-II is exclusively for candidates with a Diploma in Pharmacy. It contains 100 questions from Category-1, where each question is worth 1 mark and has a negative marking of -1/4 for every wrong answer. The paper is two hours long.

- Re-upload your photo and signature as per NTA rules.
- Wait 24–48 hours if payment is deducted but form unconfirmed.
- Contact NTA for ongoing technical issues.
New Rules for JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Selection
Candidates can select up to four exam cities based on preference.
New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
