TANCET 2025, conducted on March 22, 2025, has now started its crucial counselling phase following the declaration of results on April 23, 2025. The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, has officially commenced TN MBA MCA admission process for academic year 2025. Eligible candidates can now complete their online registration and certificate upload on official portal before the deadline, June 30, 2025.

After successful verification of submitted documents, candidates will be included in TANCET 2025 rank lists, which are scheduled for release on July 14, 2025. These ranks will determine eligibility for admissions into MBA and MCA programs across participating institutions in Tamil Nadu.

DTE, Chennai, has announced that in-person counselling for TANCET 2025 special reservation categories will take place on July 21, 2025, at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. This session is specifically for candidates applying under reserved quotas, including differently abled, sports, and other special categories.
