NMAT 2025 Retake Registration Window to be Open on November 6: Check How and Where to Apply

GMAC allows you to take NMAT exam up to three times within the same testing cycle, including the first attempt and two retakes. Leading B-schools such as NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR, ISB, XIMB, VIT, TAPMI, and SDA Bocconi accept NMAT scores for your management programs.

NMAT 2025 retake window is set to open on November 06, 2025, and will remain active until December 16, 2025. If you have already taken the test, you can schedule your second or third attempt to improve your NMAT scores. NMAT 2025 exam is being conducted from November 05 to December 19, 2025, across more than 60 cities in India, offering flexible options for you.

NMAT 2025 registration process closed on October 18, 2025, followed by NMAT scheduling window, which ended on October 25, 2025. NMAT retake window is now approaching, you still have an opportunity to enhance your scores and strengthen your chances of admission to top business schools. There must be at least a 15-day gap between two NMAT attempts.

NMAT 2025 exam is a 120-minute computer-based test divided into three sections, Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Each section has 36 questions. Additionally, there is no negative marking.

At the beginning of NMAT exam, you can choose the order of sections based on your strengths. Each section has a fixed time limit of 28 minutes for Language Skills, 52 minutes for Quantitative Skills, and 40 minutes for Logical Reasoning.

What is the Process for NMAT 2025 Retake Registration?

To book your second or third NMAT 2025 attempt, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to your NMAT account on mba.com/exams/nmat after completing your first exam.
Step 2: Check the real-time availability of exam slots across different cities and dates.
Step 3: Select your preferred NMAT exam date and test centre based on your convenience and availability.
Step 4: Pay NMAT retake fee with GST securely through credit, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Step 5: Once the payment is successful, download your new NMAT hall ticket instantly from your dashboard and keep it ready for the next attempt.

What is NMAT 2025 Retake Fee?

NMAT 2025 retake fee is INR 3,000 plus 18% GST, which brings the total to INR 3,540. You must pay this fee each time you schedule a retake, whether it’s your second or third attempt. The payment can be made easily through credit and debit card, net banking, or UPI on the official mba.com portal. Once the payment is completed, a new NMAT admit card will be generated instantly for download.

What are NMAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines?

Maintain these following guidelines on NMAT 2025 retake exam day:

You must carry your NMAT 2025 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof such as a passport, PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, or driving licence on the retake exam day.
Reach the test centre at least 45 minutes early to complete the verification process.
Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

When will NMAT 2025 Result be Declared?

NMAT results are usually available within 48 hours on the candidate’s dashboard. The official score reports are sent to B-schools within 3 to 4 weeks. Test slots in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune get booked very quickly, while smaller cities such as Nagpur, Ranchi, and Raipur have limited seats available.
