The IBSAT 2026 registration was started on July 1, on admissions.ibsindia.org, with applications expected to close in mid-December 2026. Interested candidates can apply online for MBA and PGPM programs across all nine IBS campuses by paying a INR 1,800 fee and selecting their preferred exam date (December 26 or 27).

To qualify, applicants need a bachelor's degree (Final-year students are eligible) with at least 50% marks, 15 years of formal education (in the pattern 10+2+3/4), and English-medium instruction (or valid TOEFL/IELTS scores by May 31, 2027). There are no age limits or attempt restrictions. Candidates can also apply without taking IBSAT by using valid scores from CAT/XAT (60+ percentile), NMAT (150+), or GMAT (500+). Alternative scoreholders must still fill out the online form, and email their scorecard to [email protected] before attending the common interview selection process in Feb–March 2027.

Stop Making These Mistakes While Applying for IBSAT 2026

Avoid these frequent registration errors to prevent application rejection or hassles during the admission process:

  • Name Mismatches: Ensure your name is spelled exactly as it appears on your 10th and 12th certificates to avoid delays during verification.
  • Incorrect Percentage Calculation: Compute your graduation aggregate marks using your university's official conversion formula rather than guessing.
  • Incorrect Photo Dimensions or Size: Ensure your uploaded photo is under 25 KB and formatted to 140–160 pixels to prevent automated system rejections.
  • Providing an Inactive Email Address: Use a primary, accessible email ID, as all crucial updates—including slot booking and admit cards—will be sent there.
  • Delaying Application Submission: Don't wait until the last minute because high traffic often results in portal slowdowns or technical issues within the final 48 hours.
