NMAT is a major management exam accepted by NMIMS Mumbai and other top B-schools in India and abroad. It allows you to take the test up to three times throughout a 45-day window.

NMAT 2025 registration is ongoing on the official website, register.nmat.org and application will be accepted until October 10. The exam is the gateway to 59 business schools in India including NMIMS Mumbai and 27 in other countries. NMAT 2025 will take place within a test window from November 5 - December 19, 2025. An INR 3,000 registration fee is required for each of your three exam attempts.

• Step 1: Create a new account at NMAT by GMAC website using your valid email id.
• Step 2: Enter all the personal and academic details. To verification link and verify your account check your email.
• Step 3: Fill out the full NMAT application form, choose up to 5 preferences, select NMIMS as your preference out of the 86 B-schools worldwide. For additional preference you will need to pay INR 472 + taxes per school.
• Step 4: Pay the NMAT exam fee of INR 3000 + taxes Your account dashboard will be activated once the payment is confirmed.
• Step 5: Use your dashboard to book your preferred exam slot, date, and test center.

NMIMS Mumbai Eligibility Criteria

You must meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria before applying to NMIMS Mumbai:

• Educational Qualification: A full-time bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from a with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Work Experience: Work experience is not mandatory for application but for MBA- HR program, a minimum of two years of relevant experience is desirable.

To apply to NMIMS Mumbai 2025 through NMAT, you must register for the NMAT exam first by the process given above. Registration process for NMIMS Mumbai admission is given below:

• Step 1: After registering for the NMAT, go to the official NMIMS admissions website; apply.nmims.edu/mba-2025.
• Step 2: Login by using NMAT 2025 registration number. Complete the NMIMS application form by providing required data.
• Step 4: Mention a minimum of 5 program preferences (e.g., MBA, MBA in HR, etc.). Your final preferences will be confirmed later, after shortlisting.
• Step 5: Pay the separate, non-refundable NMIMS application fee of INR 2600 + taxes.

Common Mistakes to Avoid for NMIMS Mumbai Application

You cannot change the details in the NMIMS application form after fee payment. So, it is advisable to be careful while filling out the form. Check out these common mistakes to avoid it beforehand:

• Only registering for NMAT: Registering for the NMAT exam is just the first step. To be considered for admission at NMIMS, you must also submit the separate application form of NMIMS Mumbai.
• Not selecting enough programs: NMIMS allows you to choose up to five program preferences across its different campuses. Candidates often do not fill all the five preferences.
• Having mismatched personal information: All the personal information you enter on the NMIMS application, such as your name and date of birth, must perfectly match the details on your official identification documents.
• Waiting until the last minute: Submit your application before the deadline. On the final day it can be time-taking and risky due to high website traffic.
