What is the Enhanced Security & Mandatory Biometric Verification Guidelines for NEET UG Retest?

In accordance with the stringent guidelines of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, the NTA has mandated a multi-layered security layout at all test centers.

  • You must undergo thorough physical frisking before entry.
  • Immediately after frisking, you must undergo biometric verification prior to entering the exam hall. Refusal to cooperate without a valid documented reason will be treated as a major violation of exam norms and can attract severe legal action.
  • Biometric processing will exclusively take place before the exam begins or after it concludes. You will not be disturbed by biometric logging during active writing hours.

Biometric Exception Provisions

If your biometric verification cannot be completed due to hardware failure, poor data quality, network connectivity issues with central validation servers, or physical limitations, entry will not be denied.

Instead, you will be permitted to sit for the exam after signing a formal written undertaking provided directly by the Centre Superintendent at the venue.
