This year's MBA admission is still underway for some exams and some are preparing to release their results. The leading entrance exams (including CAT, XAT etc.) serve as a gateway to premier institutions such as the IIMs, XLRI, NMIMS, Symbiosis, ICFAI and several other reputed universities. The MBA Admission 2025 - 2026 season brings a series of major entrance exams for you, aiming to join top business schools across India. The major national-level exams are AIMA CAT (for IIMs and 1,300+ colleges), XAT (for XLRI and 800+ B-schools), MAT (conducted four times a year for 800+ B-schools), SNAP (for Symbiosis institutes) and NMAT by GMAC (a 75-day window exam for 100+ institutes).

Admission to India's top MBA programs is mostly determined by MBA entrance exam scores. These exams are mostly MCQ based on checking your skills in Verbal Ability, RC, DI, LR, QA and General Awareness. These scores are crucial as they are used for shortlisting the applied candidates for both Tier-1 and Tier-2 B-schools.

MBA Admission Process After Entrance Exam

Your MBA admission journey begins with a major entrance exam. Following the exam, you proactively apply to their selected B-schools. Colleges then shortlist candidates based on your exam scores and academic performance to proceed to the final selection rounds, involving a Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).

If you would be successful, you will receive final admission offers and pay the required fees to confirm the seat between January and April for the academic session 2025-2026.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in four rounds, allocating 85% state quota seats based on choices, NEET scores, and reservations. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be managed by MCC.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates have been officially released on the state’s exam portal, upneet.gov.in. You can begin round 1 registration process from November 06, 2025. To participate in the seat allocation, you must register online and submit your preferred choices of colleges and courses. The deadline for application submission is October 10, 2025. If you have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam and meet the minimum cutoff criteria, you are eligible to take part in Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.
