The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially released the schedule for WBJEE 2026. The examination is confirmed for May 24, 2026. Check out the examinations that clash with this particular exam date.

The announcement of the WBJEE 2026 exam date has sparked a significant wave of concern and logistical confusion among the engineering aspirants. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) typically conducts this high-stakes assessment in April. But the 2026 schedule has been pushed back by nearly a month to accommodate the state elections occurring throughout March and April. This shift has inadvertently created a massive scheduling conflict with the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET) 2026, which is also locked in for May 24. For students aiming for both regional engineering seats and specialized maritime courses, this overlap presents a frustrating "either-or" ultimatum, as both are strictly one-day, offline examinations with no alternative slots available.
The discontent is further amplified by the proximity of other major national entrance exams. While the BITSAT 2026 (Session 2) exams also begin on May 24, offer a degree of flexibility through slot booking. However, the academic calendar for May remains exam -packed. The month begins with NEET UG on May 3, followed by JEE Advanced on May 17, and is punctuated by the expansive CUET UG window from May 11 to May 31.
