You must have completed your 12th-grade examination under the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or an equivalent qualification. You need a minimum of 75% or more in aggregate in PCM/PCB and a minimum of 60% or more in individual subjects in your 10+2 class. BITSAT Eligibility Criteria for Educational Qualification

To be eligible for BITSAT 2025 based on educational qualification, you must fulfil the following criteria which is mentioned below.

• You must have completed your 12th-grade examination (under the 10+2 system) from a recognized Central or State board or an equivalent qualification. If you have completed or are appearing for your 12th standard examination from a recognized State board and satisfy the specified subject combinations and minimum percentage requirements.
• You must have physics, Chemistry and mathematics subjects in class 12.
• For the Pharmacy Programs, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• For the B.E. and M.Sc. Programmes, you must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• You need a minimum percentage of 75% in total in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from your Class 10+2 exams.
• For the pharmacy programs, the requirement percentage is 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• For the B.E. and M.Sc. requirement percentage is 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• You must be fluent in the English language.
• Those who are appearing for their 12th standard examination in 2025 or who have passed it in 2024 are eligible to appear for BITSAT 2025.
• Those who are already studying on BITS or any of its campuses are not eligible.

BITSAT 2025: Criteria for Different Education Boards

BITS welcomes you from all educational boards, including CBSE, ISC, and various state boards. You passed CBSE with 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. You are considered equally eligible as a candidate from a state board with the same percentage.

You can register and attempt the entrance test for admission into India’s top engineering institutions. If you have passed your Class 10+2 from any recognized board of education and meet the minimum marks requirement, you can appear for the BITSAT 2025 entrance test.

BITSAT 2025: Criteria for Reserved Categories

BITSAT 2025 does not offer any reservations for categories such as religion, caste, or others. You should know that BITSAT follows a merit-based selection process only. You must adhere to the same eligibility criteria mentioned above.

Direct Admission Pathway for Board Toppers in BITSAT 2025

BITS offers direct admission to top-ranking candidates in their respective state or central board 10+2 exams. In that case, if you are a top-ranking candidate, you don’t need to take the BITSAT 2025 exam to get into BITS. This policy interests the brightest candidates across the country.

As a topper, you are rewarded for your hard work and given direct admission to BITS. For those of you who achieve top ranks in your board exams, BITSAT 2025 is unnecessary for securing a spot at BITS.

Required Documents for BITSAT 2025

For BITSAT 2025 registration, it's suggested you prepare the following required documents. The required documents for BITSAT 2025 registration are mentioned below:

• You must possess your 12th-grade examination certificate (under the 10+2 system) from a recognized Central or State board or an equivalent qualification. If you are currently studying in class 12, you will need to submit your marks statement.
• You will need to upload your scanned passport-size photograph and signature. The BITSAT 2025 application form specifies an image size of 4 KB to 100 KB for the photograph and 1 KB to 40 KB for the signature, and the uploaded documents must be in JPEG/JPG format.
• You must have a credit/debit card available for the payment of the BITSAT 2025 registration fees.
• It is suggested you use Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0 or later), Internet Explorer (version 11 and above), or Google Chrome (version 3.0 or later) for the BITSAT registration process.
