The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has officially extended the deadline for the Iteration 1 seat acceptance and fee payment process. Students who were allotted a seat in the first round now have until 5:00 PM today, June 27, to complete their payment and secure their admission.
BITSAT uses a "multi-iteration" counseling system, which is a series of rounds designed to fill seats as they become vacant; in this process, the system automatically re-evaluates all registered applicants based on their BITSAT 2026 scores and preference lists, meaning you may be "upgraded" to a higher-ranked program if a spot opens up, or remain on the waitlist for future rounds without needing to re-apply.
To avoid technical issues, you should complete your payment well before the deadline, especially since the results for the next round, Iteration 2, are scheduled to be released on July 1, 2026.
BITSAT 2026 Iteration 1 Fee Payment: How to Complete?
To remain eligible for BITSAT 2026 Iteration seat upgrades and ensure your admission is processed, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Log in to the official BITS admissions portal to accept your offer. .
- Step 2: Use the official online gateway to pay the required fees. Do not wait until the last minute to avoid potential technical issues.
- Step 3: Even if you are aiming for a different branch or campus, you must secure your current allotment by paying the fee to remain in the "float" or "slide" pool for future iterations.
