NMIMS LAT is a University - level common law entrance exam for admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) courses conducted in an online computer - based format offered by NMIMS. The NMIMS Law Admission Test (LAT) serves as an opportunity for aspiring candidates to get admission to UG law courses under NMIMS institutes. It is not just a test of Academics but also a platform for assessing Critical thinking Reasoning abilities and Awareness of Legal principles.

About NMIMS Law Aptitude Test (NMIMS LAT)  :

NMIMS - LAT is an entrance exam for Law. Through this exam, The institute provides admission to the students into the five - year integrated BA - LLB (Hons) and BBA - LLB (Hons) programmes at various campuses of NMIMS Schools of Law located in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh and Dhule. Candidates should also be aware that the BA - LLB program is not available at the Dhule campus. The institute also offers an LLM programme through the NLAT 2024. They offer a one - year LLM program only at the Mumbai campus.

NMIMS LAT 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode in multiple slots at designated test centres throughout India. Before applying, Candidates must fulfil the NMIMS LAT eligibility criteria. This entrance exam will test the candidate’s ability in five areas, which are Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge and Quantitative Reasoning. There will be a total of 150 MCQ questions of 150 marks.

Exam Duration -  2 Hours.

Number of Total Questions - 150 Questions.

Total Marks - 150 Marks.

Marking Scheme - +1 Mark for Correct Answer & - 0.25 for Incorrect Answer.

Sections - 5 Subjects.

Marking Process of NMIMS LAT Exam 

• For each correct answer, students will receive one mark.
• Marks won’t be deducted for giving wrong answers. 

Score Validity - NMIMS LAT score is only valid for one Academic year.
