IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 specify the academic qualifications you need to apply for MBA and PGPM programmes at ICFAI Business School (IBS). To qualify, you must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. Your graduation must follow a minimum of 15 years of formal education under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern, with English as the medium of instruction.

If you are in your final year of graduation, you can also apply, provided you complete all graduation requirements, including practical examinations, viva and assignments, by May 31, 2027. If your graduation was not in English, you must submit a TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score by the same date. You must also submit proof of graduation by November 1, 2027.

If you are applying for a PhD in Management, you must meet separate eligibility requirements. These include a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and a relevant postgraduate qualification with at least 55% marks, or an eligible professional qualification such as CFA, CA, CWA or CS with the required marks. You must also have completed at least 17 years of formal education.

IBSAT 2026 has no specified upper age limit, and candidates can apply if they meet the academic eligibility requirements for their chosen programme.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026: General Requirements

To apply for the IBSAT 2026 exam, you must meet the following eligibility requirements for MBA and PGPM admission at ICFAI Business School (IBS):

  • You must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • You must have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal education, following the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern.
  • English must be the medium of instruction during graduation. If your degree was not taught in English, you must submit a TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score by May 31, 2027.

IBS also offers a PhD in Management with separate eligibility criteria, including a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant postgraduate or professional qualification and at least 17 years of formal education.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026: Program-wise Requirements

IBS has outlined specific eligibility requirements for each of its major programs. The details for the three primary courses offered are provided below.
