IIT (ISM) Dhanbad offers scholarships and grants to its Needy and Meritorious students based on their Academic Excellence.

SL. No.	Scholarships	Details
1.	Merit Cum Means Scholarship	25% scholarships with 10% Freeship given to all disciplines.
2.	Endowment Scholarships : (2 to 9) Budhwanti Mrig Memorial Educational Scholarship	For the girl students studying in IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
3.	Atlas Copco Scholarship	Given to the Final year students of Mining Engineering and B.Tech students.
4.	Indrajeet & Satyawati Badhwar Scholarship	Given to the meritorious B.Tech Final year students.
5.	ISS Scholarship	Offered to the 10 best students from the MBA, M.Sc., M.Tech and B.Tech departments.
6.	S. L. Sehgal Memorial Scholarship	Given to the top 10 students of Fourth year MLE, MM, M.E, B.Tech.
7.	Paritosh Pathikrit Endowment Scholarship	Provided to the First, Third and Fourth - year students of BTech.
8.	Ishan Rajvanshi Merit Scholarship	Given to the First to Third year students with renewal.
9.	Benevolent Fund	This is a one - time Financial assistance.

ISMAANA Scholarships :

1. Pramod and Meera Thakur Trust (PMTT) scholarship - One scholarship given to the First year Minning Engineering student. This is a citation and cash prize. The sponsoring agency is ISMAANA.

2. Zoeb and Shera Mogri Scholarship - The sponsoring agency is ISMAANA, and the award is INR 1000 on a merit cum means basis.

3. Chugh Family Foundation Scholarship - Total 4 scholarships are given to the first to fourth year students of any branch of engineering. The amount is INR 1000, and this is a merit cum means grant.

4. Atul Arya Mari Scholarship - First year student can get INR 1000 scholarship from ISMAANA.

5. Mahendra Verma Scholarship - One scholarship is given to a student from nay discipline, and the amount is INR 1000. This is a merit cum means grant from ISMAANA.

6. Neelima Verma Scholarship - Third year students from all disciplines get this grant, and the amount is INR 1000.

7. Srimati Sushila Devi Tull Memorial (SDTM) Scholarship - The amount of INR 1000 is given to all disciplines, based on the academic excellence. The sponsoring agency is ISMAANA.

8. Sandvik Scholarship - 10 scholarships are given to the students of the college.
