Amity University was established in 2015 and is recognized by the UGC. It is in Rajarhat in the heart of joy, Kolkata. Amity University is a member of AIU and has been ranked by EducationWorld to be no. 1 in West Bengal and 24th in India in the category of India’s Private Multidisciplinary Universities. The University offers 4 years full time BTech and 2 years full time MBA as the flagship courses. The total fee for the BTech and MBA courses are INR 9.84 Lakhs and INR 8.88 Lakhs, respectively.

Candidates need to have eligibility of 10+2 with 50% for the BTech course. However, for the MBA course, graduation with 50% is needed. Admission to both the BTech and MBA courses is based on JEE Main, Amity JEE, and NMAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, respectively. If someone has not taken any national level entrance exam, they can appear for Amity Written Test on the day of the interview.

Amity University Kolkata also offers 20 courses in UG, PG, and Research streams.
