GATE 2027: IIT Madras Announced Exam Dates, Eligibility, Registration & Fees Details

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a premier national-level examination. The official website is launched and dates are out. Read the updates here.

For the 2027 cycle, IIT Madras is the designated conducting body for GATE examination. The registration begins on August 27th, on the GOAPS portal, followed by deadlines on September 27st and October 5th. Eligibility extends to students in their 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate program, as well as graduates in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, or relevant Science/Arts/Commerce fields. The examination is scheduled for the first three weekends of February 2027.

GATE facilitates admission into MTech, ME, and PhD programs at top-tier institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs, while also serving as a gateway for recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

GATE 2027: Registration Fee Structure

The application fees are categorized based on the candidate's profile and the timing of the submission. To avoid additional costs, complete your GATE applications during the regular period.

• Regular Period:

Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates: INR 1000
All other applicants: INR 2000

• Extended Period (with Late Fee):

Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates: INR 1500
All other applicants: INR 2500

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in four rounds, allocating 85% state quota seats based on choices, NEET scores, and reservations. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be managed by MCC.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates have been officially released on the state’s exam portal, upneet.gov.in. You can begin round 1 registration process from November 06, 2025. To participate in the seat allocation, you must register online and submit your preferred choices of colleges and courses. The deadline for application submission is October 10, 2025. If you have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam and meet the minimum cutoff criteria, you are eligible to take part in Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.
