For the 2026-27 academic session, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct the OMR-based ANM & GNM-2026 entrance examination on June 14, 2026 (Sunday). The shift is to be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. The ANM & GNM-2026 exam consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in both English and Bengali, covering Life Science, Physical Science, and Mathematics at the 10th-standard level, alongside Basic English, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning at the 12th-standard level. You must strictly use a blue or black ballpoint pen to darken circles on the OMR sheet, adhering to a scoring system that includes a 25% negative marking for Category-1 questions and a partial marking system for multi-correct Category-2 questions.

The Board has established 57 examination zones across all districts to accommodate students. Following the exam, WBJEEB will publish a General Merit Rank (GMR) based on scores and a rigorous 18-step tie-breaking methodology, which will serve as the primary criteria for the electronic counselling and admission process into various Government, Private, and Self-financed nursing institutes.
