SSC GD 2026 application correction is open as the dates are rescheduled. Now it is to end on Jan 13 (23:00 Hours). SSC gave this three-day window applicants three days to edit your form. Check the details that can be changed and the fee for each correction.

Check out the final opportunity to modify essential details. The changeable fields are; name, date of birth, exam center preferences and photograph. The SSC GD Constable exam is for 25,487 posts in the CAPFs, SSF, Assam Rifles and NCB.

A correction fee of INR 200 is charged for the first modification, while any subsequent second-time correction costs INR 500. Both are non-refundable and must be paid online via BHIM UPI or Net Banking to finalize the changes. No further requests for changes will be entertained via post or email after the January 10 deadline. Following the closure of this window, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) is slated to begin on February 23, 2026, with the official slot booking process expected to commence in the first week of February.

How to Make Correction to Your SSC GD 2026 Application Form?

Step 1: Visit ssc.gov.in and enter your registration number and password.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'My Applications' tab on your dashboard.
Step 3: Click the 'Re-Apply' link under the SSC GD 2026 section.
Step 4: Carefully update personal info, exam center preferences, or educational data.
Step 5: Pay the applicable fee to finalize your submission.
Step 6: Download and print the updated application receipt for your reference.

Failing to complete the payment for your SSC GD 2026 application correction will result in the new form being marked as ‘Incomplete’. This status is usually printed clearly at the top of the application page, indicating that the modified version has not been accepted by the Commission. In such instances, the Staff Selection Commission will ignore the new changes and continue to treat your previously submitted application as the only valid record for the recruitment process.
