SSC GD 2026: Detailed Force and Category-wise Male and Female Vacancies for 25,487 Posts

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has already released the notification for the General Duty (GD) Constable recruitment drive, announcing a total of 25,487 vacancies. Check the gender-wise vacancy list below.

The registration window is currently active on the official website, ssc.gov.in. Last date to submit the application is set for December 31, 2025 (23:00 Hour). Online fee payment deadline is January 1, 2026. Following the registration closure, a 3-day correction window will be available from January 8 to January 10, 2026, for candidates to modify their forms upon paying the stipulated charges.

Of the total vacancies, 23,467 posts are for male candidates and 2,020 are for female candidates. These posts are for Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) roles across various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Assam Rifles (AR) and the Secretariat Security Force (SSF). The SSC GD 2026 Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is tentatively scheduled to be conducted between February and April 2026.
