NEET PG 2025 answer key plea has been adjourned by the Supreme Court to next week. The NBE had released the answer key on August 29, which contained only question IDs and not the full question paper.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is anticipated to release the counselling schedule for NEET PG 2025 shortly, with dates reportedly set for on or after September 5, 2025. In a related development, the Supreme Court has adjourned the plea seeking transparency in the NEET PG 2025 answer key until next week. The petitioner had requested an urgent hearing on the matter, citing the imminent release of counselling dates. During the hearing on September 4, 2025, the court reportedly questioned the petitioner's motives, stating, "Is it because you got less mark in NEET PG 2025, you raise transparency issue in NEET PG 2025 answer key, the court reportedly said."
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) had released the official answer key for the NEET PG 2025exam on August 29. This answer key, however, only included the question ID, the correct answer, and the candidate's response. This led students to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), arguing that the format made the answer key's release a mere formality. The petition states, "It frustrates the very object of publishing answer keys and responses, which is to enable candidates to cross-check their answers, raise objections against discrepancies, and ensure transparency in evaluation of a high-stakes national examination." Many students felt that NBE had initially given the impression of a more transparent process, only to later make a U-turn and release a notification that provided a less comprehensive answer key.
UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in four rounds, allocating 85% state quota seats based on choices, NEET scores, and reservations.
The remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be managed by MCC.
UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates have been officially released on the state’s exam portal, upneet.gov.in.

must register online and submit your preferred choices of colleges and courses. The deadline for application submission
is October 10, 2025. If you have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam and meet the minimum cutoff criteria, you are eligible to
take part in Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.

New rule: Cities must be from your Permanent or Present Address state.
NTA will allot the nearest available centres based on Permanent Address.
