This extension follows the DCI decision to push the internship completion deadline to June 30, 2025, thereby expanding eligibility for the exam.

NEET MDS 2025 examination will feature 240 multiple-choice questions, adhering to a marking scheme where four marks are awarded for each correct response, one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer, and no marks are assigned or subtracted for questions left unanswered.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution. The institution must be recognized by DCI.

Internship: A mandatory one-year rotational internship in an approved/recognized dental college is required. The completion of this internship must occur by June 30, 2025.
