The new system for JEE Main 2026 initiated by NTA will tie exam seat allotment directly to your present and permanent addresses. This location will be verified through mandatory Aadhaar e-KYC during registration.

This reform is aligned with the Radhakrishnan Committee Report (2024), aiming to boost transparency, curb fraud and ensure the aspirants take the exam closer to their actual residence.
