IIT JAM 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to October 20: Get Direct Link to Apply Now at joaps.iitb.ac.in

This year, a total of 3,000 seats are available across 89 postgraduate programmes in 22 IITs through JAM 2026. Candidates must qualify the exam and meet each institute’s eligibility criteria to secure admission in MSc or MS courses.

 

IIT Bombay has officially extended IIT JAM 2026 registration deadline. As per revised schedule, you can now apply until October 20, 2025, through official portal joaps.iitb.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to register was October 12, 2025. This extension offers candidates additional time to complete their application for JAM exam.

As per the official schedule, IIT Bombay will conduct JAM 2026 exam on February 15, 2026, in both forenoon and afternoon sessions. The exam will cover seven subjects, including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics.

You must know qualifying in JAM 2026 does not guarantee admission, a scholarship, or employment. Final admission depends on meeting the Minimum Educational Qualification criteria set by admitting institute.

Additionally, JAM 2026 score is also expected to be accepted by other top institutions such as IISc Bengaluru, IISERs, IIPE, JNCASR, and CFTIs like NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT through CCMN counselling process.
