National testing agency has issued important notice for the upcoming CUET 2026 registration process. Check the list of required documents and important updates about the advisory.
National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body of Common University Entrance Test has released a crucial advisory for all aspirants. The NTA strongly urges to ensure essential documents. Specifically, the Aadhaar Card, UDID Card (for PwD candidates) and Category Certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) are updated and valid before starting the online application process. The CUET Registration 2026 is expected to begin in the first week of March 2026.
The purpose of this required update is to expedite registration, avoid inconsistencies and prevent candidature rejection at a later stage of admission. The exam is to be held in CUET UG in May 2026 The application form and official notices will be available on the NTA website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
CUET (UG) 2026 Registration: Required Documents and Mandatory Updates
You must ensure the following documents are valid, updated, and ready before filling out the CUET (UG)-2026 application form:
- Aadhaar Card: Ensure the correct name, DOB (matching the Class 10th certificate), latest photograph, address and father's name are updated.
- UDID Card / Disability Certificate (for PwD Candidates): The Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card or the Disability Certificate must be valid, updated and renewed if necessary.
- Category Certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL): The respective category certificate must be updated and valid, strictly following the latest government guidelines.
The NTA emphasized that compliance with this advisory is crucial to avoid complications later, as mismatched details or outdated documents frequently cause delays or cancellation of candidature during the selection process.
