Candidates preparing for the CUET UG/ CUETSET 2026, must check all the CUET eligibility criteria. The participating institutions determine the eligibility criteria for each program, whereas the NTA sets the requirements to appear for the CUET UG examination. Candidates will get a passing grade in Class 12th from a recognized board to be eligible for the CUET exam. The eligibility requirements will be available on the official website of each candidate?s chosen university.
Minimum Age Limit: There is no age limit for the CUET UG 2024 examination. Candidates can appear for the examination, as long they have fulfilled the other eligibility criteria.
Nationality: To apply for the CUET UG exam, candidates have to be Indian citizens.
Educational Qualification: For CUET UG, Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
Subjects Studied: Candidates must have studied any of the following subjects during the class 12th: Accountancy, Agriculture, Anthropology, Art Education Sculpture, Business Studies, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Economics, Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, General Test, Geography, History, Home Science, Languages, Legal Studies, Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science etc.
